Raleigh County Parks and Recreation and Fitzpatrick Park will be hosting an Arbor Day 5K Beckley, WV; April 30, 2022 – Raleigh County Parks and Recreation and Fitzpatrick Park will be hosting an Arbor Day 5K, 3K, and Kids Fun Run. The event will be on April 30, 2022 at Fitzpatrick Park at 10am. Event information can be found on the Raleigh County Parks and Recreation, Fitzpatrick Park, and Lake Stephens’ Facebook page. Deadline to register is April 28, 2022. Arbor Day 5K will not only have a 5K race, but a 3K and a Kids Fun Run as well. There will be other tree learning activities for all children. There is a $15 registration fee for all 5K participants. All people who register for the 3K and Kids Fun Run will be free. After all races are completed, we will be planting new trees around the park for a more beautiful and healthy community. There are options to purchase a memorial tree available.
