Raleigh County WVU Extension Office and Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority together provide an amazing camp for local youth to engage in outdoor activities. With a few week long camping opportunities youth can play, learn, and experience southern WV.
Raleigh County 4-H Youth Camp is managed by a Board of Directors who volunteer there time to give back to a camp that means so much to so many. Event Space and Lodging Rental
The camp includes many rental options from indoor to outdoor and one day event rentals to weekly lodging and camp rentals.
The main building has 2 large rooms (Leona Burns Dining Hall and Wooten Hall) a large commercial kitchen, bathrooms, and a foyer between the 2 large rooms. Leona Burns Dining Hall is 100ftx70ft and Wooten Hall is 70ftx70ft. Both rooms can seat up to 150 people. Tables and chairs available. The commercial kitchen has a walk in refrigerator, a commercial dishwasher, a freezer, a side-by-side refrigerator, a single refrigerator, a milk cooler, a double over, and two commercial ranges.
Wifi is also available for an additional fee.
The Clover Cottage includes 4 dorm style rooms that sleeps 10, and 4 bathrooms with all the amenities.
There are 3 other cabins set up for sleeping with separate bathhouses.
A very large picnic shelter with cooking pit. A fire circle for memorable campfires.
